Collection of Henry Madden study in depth of King Rama VI 1913-1915 Vienna Provisional Surcharged Issue 2st.-15st. (#159-62) of which 97 pages of original Henry Madden's exhibit pages with his own handwriting and further expanded by the new owner to about 450 pages housed in 2 albums. Every surcharged value has all settings as listed in Frajola's i.e. 2st.-3 settings, 5st-5 settings, 10st.-7 settings and 15 st.- 6 settings. Each setting contains used and unused either single or pair or block of 4 or large multiple blocks or full sheet but mostly in single. According to the owner's counting the total of stamps are 19,275 used and 1,388 unused, some setting with large duplicates. All scarce settings are well represented and the significance goes to the full sheet of 100 of 15st. on 28st. (#162) of which setting 5 of 2 combination settings on same sheet that only 600 sheets were surcharged and this full sheet is probably the lone survival intact. Also some error were well noted including imperf, surcharged double, badly misplaced, minor doubled or kissed etc. Very good for advance collectors. Also good basic fundamental for new collectors to study settings, position and varieties of this issue. Conditions are mostly clean and very fresh. Huge catalogue values. Low starting price only about 7.50 baht a piece. Inpection highly recommended.F-VF.(2 albums)

(#159-62) แยกเป็น 2 อัลบั้ม เป็นของ Henry madden 97 แผ่นสภาพเดิม พร้อมลายมือเขียนเดิม เจ้าของใหม่ได้ขยายคอลเลคชั่นเป็น 450 แผ่น ทุกราคาที่พิมพ์ทับมีทุก setting ที่กล่าวไว้ในหนังสือ Frajola มีทั้งใช้แล้วและยังไม่ใช้ กล่าวคือ 2สต.-3 setting, 5สต-5 setting, 10สต.-7 setting และ 15สต.- 6 setting.แสตมป์เป็นดวงเดี่ยวหรือเป็นคู่ หรือเป็นบล็อคสี่ หรือบล็อคใหญ่หรือเต็มแผ่น แต่ส่วนใหญ่เป็นดวงเดี่ยว จำนวนแสตมป์ทั้งหมดตามที่เจ้าของนับไว้เป็นแสตมป์ใช้แล้ว 19,275 ดวงและแสตมป์ยังไม่ใช้ 1,388 ดวง บางแบบมีซ้ำพอสมควร ที่สำคัญที่สุดอยู่ที่แสตมป์เต็มแผ่น 100 ดวงของราคา 15สต. บน 28สต. setting 5 ที่หายากมาก และมี 2 settfings อยู่บนแผ่นเดียวกัน ซึ่งมีการพิมพ์เพียง 600 แผ่นเท่านั้นและสภาพดีมาก(เป็นแผ่นเดียวพบ) ยังมีตัวตลกอีกเล็กน้อย เช่น ไม่ปรุรู ตลกพิมพ์ซ้ำมาก และ พิพม์ซ้ำน้อย ตลกพิมพ์เคลื่อนน้อย และ พิพม์เคลื่อนมาก และตลกอื่นๆ เหมาะสำหรับนักสะสมที่ชอบศึกษาเชิงลึกและนักสะสมใหม่ที่ต้องการการศึกษาตำแหน่ง แบบต่างๆ ของแสตมป์ชุดนี้ สภาพส่วนใหญ่สีสด เป็นสภาพนอกทั้งหมด ราคาตามคู่มือสูงมากๆ แต่ราคาเริ่มต้นต่ำมากเพียงดวงละประมาณ 7.50 บาทเท่านั้น ควรต้องตรวจสอบเพิ่มเติม F-VF.(2 เล่ม)
